My name is Robyn, and I am a minority car dealer. And of the 5% of women auto dealers, I am from even a smaller percentage as I started in sales. I graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in banking & finance. After realizing the job market was pretty competitive, I decided to sell cars "for a while". Turned out, I fell in love with my job. It was so fun to work with my customers and to help them find a new car. They were excited, I was excited...it was just really cool. So, after selling cars for a few years, I moved into finance. Through the years, I worked through all departments and after 20 years in the store, I finally had the opportunity to buy in. As of now, I am the primary dealer and I operate the store. My Dad is still my partner, but he has retired. Someday, I will buy him out and then I would love to maybe buy a second dealership. I guess time will tell. For now, I have an amazing store in a very authentic and awesome little town in Nebraska. I have THE worlds BEST team and the greatest customers ever. I am very thankful and blessed for all of my opportunities.
Ok, so I am so excited you are here. In fact, I am so excited I am here!! This blog has been a dream of mine for over 20 years and I can't believe it is finally happening! A Driven Mom is designed out of a pure passion for women & how we fit in this modern world. I want to inspire women to believe in themselves and to embrace whatever path God may be leading you to. My goals, ambitions and inspirations have come together to form a platform that I am so proud to be a part of. I can't wait to get to know you, and hear about your journey. My dad and I share partnership of a small car dealership in North Platte, Nebraska. Right out of college I started working at a different dealership, and little did I know it was just the beginning of my dreams. Shortly after, in 1998, I came to work with my Dad here in Nebraska. My goal is to run a successful business and be a positive influence on our team and in our community. But my dream is to change the automotive industry. We'll talk more about that later!
